Cruz: "I framed O.J."
WASHINGTON D.C. -- On Thursday, U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz revealed to the FBI that he "may indeed have framed" Heisman Trophy winner O.J. Simpson for the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman in 1994.
"I knew they would pin it on the black guy," Cruz said.
The interview took place shortly after law enforcement announced it was reopening its investigation into the death of Heath Ledger in light of new information the actor was friendly with Sen. Ted Cruz, the Zodiac killer, at the time of his death.
Cruz first gained attention from law enforcement after confessing he murdered the Clinton Administration lawyer Vince Foster in the 1990s. According to FBI sources, Cruz claims his killing spree was motivated by a desire to please his father, the man who shot JFK.
