Trump says he doesn’t want poor people in his cabinet “because that’s where food belongs”
IOWA -- On Thursday, failed former GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump told thousands of Facebook trolls that he doesn’t want “a poor person” to have a role in his kitchen cabinet, because "poor people are hungry and cabinets are where the food goes."
Trump said cabinetry is expensive, and asked his online supporters if they could afford cabinetry as expensive as his, something he wanted to know because all the people he likes "have very expensive cabinetry."
Trump continued, saying he "loves poor people," but he hates peanuts, and he doesn't want his friends to eat peanuts like poor people do, so he needs poor people to stay very far away from his cabinets, because rich people have peanut allergies.
“And I love all people, rich or poor, but in those particular positions I just don’t want a poor person. Does that make sense?” Trump asked.
Indeed, it made no sense, which is one reason that Trump lost November's election to President Hillary Rodham Clinton by 3 million votes.
