Once again, Mein Kampf beats out Bible for the top spot on Infowars’ “Best Books of 2017”
CHULA VISTA—In a mild upset, Adolph Hitler’s autobiography, Mein Kampf (My Struggle), has again beaten out the Bible for the number one spot on Infowars’ “Best Books of 2017,” the ultimate reading list for alt-right bibliophiles.
Asked to explain the pick, Infowars founder and conspiracy theorist extraordinaire Alex Jones told Publishers Weekly, “It’s really hard to explain, but there’s just something about it…it definitely still holds a certain endearing charm. I think it’s racism.”
Many of the top picks were holdovers from 2016, with author Paul Kersey earning two spots with Captain America and Whiteness, and Escape From Detroit, in which Kersey opines, “Why can’t Black engineers just fix these water pipes?”
A newcomer to the list this year is Black is the New White, by Dr. Ben Carson. In the book, Carson draws heavily on personal experiences to explain the myriad of ways that are available to black people to make themselves more white, like him.
Rounding out the top ten is Kellyanne Conway’s new autobiography, Selling Out the Feminist Movement Pays.
