Kylie Jenner to major in gender studies at Wellesley
LOS ANGELES -- Lip gloss mogul Kylie Jenner shocked her Instagram followers on Friday with the announcement that she plans to abandon Hollywood to pursue a gender studies degree at Wellesley College.
"It's always been my dream to attend a Seven Sisters school," Kylie said. "For years, I delayed that dream in the hopes that Wellesley would relax its admissions policy and accept Tyga. But I can't wait any longer."
Jenner said she was excited to "learn more about patriarchy, the male gaze, and read anti-pornography thinkers like Catharine MacKinnon and Andrea Dworkin, to whom I already owe so much."
Jenner noted that beyond her brother-in-law, the "College Dropout" singer Kanye West, she will be one of the first people in her family to attend college, writing that her sisters "could not be prouder."
