White House to hold first annual Snowflake Ball
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Plans are underway for the first annual Snowflake Ball, to be held at the White House this December. The event appears to be an effort by the Clinton administration to reclaim the "snowflake" insult hurled by Republicans throughout the 2016 election season.
According to Press Secretary Leslie Jones, the event will feature real indoor snow, created by machines made in America. The guest list includes Hollywood’s A-list, leading climate change researchers and advocates, and press covering the White House.
Guests will be treated to an array of dazzling performances. Broadway singer Idina Menzel will perform her rendition of the Frozen hit, "Let It Go," directed toward Republicans still struggling to process the results of the presidential election. Afterward, the enchanting Stevie Nicks will perform her hit Landslide, in honor of President Clinton’s 3 million vote margin of victory.
The White House has requested that guests bring an unwrapped toy or children’s book for President Clinton’s Toys For Tots campaign.
