Clinton slams Theresa May over UK's immigration policy: "Bitch, please."
LONDON-- The Telegraph is reporting that after UK Prime Minister Theresa May announced harsh new immigration rules, on Thursday, President Hillary Clinton was so incensed, she sent the British leader a two-word text from her personal cell phone that read only, "Bitch, please."
As the UK gets closer to negotiating Brexit and formalizing trade deals with the rest of the world, May has clung to Britain's rightwing, becoming more and more vocal about the need to curb immigration to Britain from both Europe and the Commonwealth.
White House aides say May's willingness to pander to xenophobes and racists is infuriating.
This morning, the White House issued a statement on behalf of President Clinton saying, “The UK is basically screwing itself over by kicking out some of its most qualified immigrants - all I can say is that you’re welcome in our country!”
The United States has recently announced initiatives to improve the immigration process, especially for those coming to the United States looking for work.
